Bettina Buttgen

INFINITY SCARF

The natural light of silk satin and its ability to wrap the body like a caress make it one of the most beautiful materials for me. Therefore, I could not resist the temptation to combine the warmth of cashmere with the soft sensuality of the satin, a union that allows me to venture into endless games of color.
I wanted to create a basic garment, a joker for all occasions, minimal and unique: this is how the ring is born. Each piece is worked by hand, in shades of colors and details that make it unique and not reproducible.
The pictorial inspiration is the plaster of the walls eroded over time with its layers of colors or the old iron or wooden doors encrusted: a play of colors and shapes that reinterprets with mixed techniques between painting and dyeing.
It is available in various sizes. The ring shape, especially in size S, allows a versatile fit, not only as a scarf but also as a stole, hair band, shrugs, etc...

100% silk satin and cashmere individually hand-worked with mixed techniques
